I wanted to do something a little different. And, I also wanted to remind people that just because I don't, it doesn't mean I can't. Applique, that is. My preference for piecing is obvious as most of this quilt is pieced, with a little applique thrown in. As for that applique, it can be done by hand, by machine or using fusible web. That choice is yours, I'm only providing the templates. While my quilt is done with pinks and browns, I think an old-fashioned red, yellow, green and black color scheme would be wonderful.
