The Kwik Scrappy Illusions quilt pattern by Two Kwik Quilters is "stack-n-whack" at its best. No measuring, no templates, just use a freezer paper pattern, stack once and cut. For every 12" square you begin with, you will have after sewing a 9" finished block. If you buy twelve 1/3 yard cuts, six of one color group and six of another, you will will have enough fabric to make three sets, or 36 blocks. Additional fabrics required for a crib size quilt measuring 37" x 46" are: 1/4 yard for inner border, 2/3 yard for outer border, 1/4 yard binding, and 1 1/2 yards for backing. This pattern also includes instructions and math calucations for making larger quilt sizes.
