11 year old Jessica started sewing tissue covers for breast cancer patients in July of 2011 when her aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. Jessica was featured in an article in Better Homes & Gardens October 2012 issue, and now Jessica donates about 300 'Jems" yearly to the local breast center as a gift to patients. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be used to continue supplying Jessica with more "Jems" to breast cancer patients.
