Background Options
The finished quilt measures 48" x 62", and all of the applique pieces are 100% hand dyed wool. This quilt is also available with 3 different background options: Flannel, 100% Wool, or 100% Makta Silk
Any version will be lovely, and so you can select one that best fits your style and budget.

This quilt is also offered as either a 12 month Block of the Month or All at Once kit, and we will begin shipping in October. You will receive the wool applique and the background of your choice. Full sized templates make this a delight to sew together. Please note that you will ONLY pay the reservation deposit now.

Silk Thread
For our Wool on Silk projects, as well as any applique project, we recommend 100% silk thread. For this project we offer a 12 pack silk thread, 220 yards per spool (to cover many of the colors) at a total cost of $72. If you would like to reserve the complete Kimono 80 spool silk pack (220 yards each spool), the total is $429.99, a savings of $50 over the regular $479.99 price. You will use many of the colors in this project.
