As shown, the quilt is made of a wide variety of fabrics...homespun, reproductions, modern, batiks and wools! It was an experiment for me to get out of the box and I had a wonderful time stitching on this quilt. The directions are written in Block of the Month style. The theme is about an orange grove, based on the center block which is the Orange Peel block. The surrounding blocks contain things you might find in an orange grove...the farm house, the sun, flowers, an orange tree with a swing, the stars at night and of course the welcoming pineapple to come visit the grove.
