One reviewer gave this a rating of  Tab Comments: The purse kit was a disappointment. The background is brown not cream. The colors are nothing like what is shown in the picture. The pattern is printed on the directions and requires adding a 1/4 seam as well as extending the pattern. The direction are in a small booklet with some of the pattern pieces covering both sides. For one of the pattern pieces the top on one page doesn't align with the rest of the piece on the other page. Teresa's Reply So sorry, Trudy, that you were not happy with this kit! The background is definitely a tan, and perhaps not as light as your monitor may have showed. We try to make it as true to color as possible, so sorry if we missed it this time. I have sent your pattern difficulties to Fig Tree, but we've had many make this bag, and haven't had issues in the past. I'm not sure what the alignment issue is.
