Designer Bio

Artful Offerings, Karina Hittle

Karina Hittle is an award winning mixed-media and needle arts pattern designer and artist. She and her husband, Audie, currently live in the breathtaking woodlands of northeastern Massachusetts. There they enjoy peaceful country living running their design studio, Artful Offerings, which currently specializes in the creation and publication of sewing, quilting and stitchery patterns "from folk art for fancy."

By combining all the facets of art that she enjoys, Karina has developed an eclectic style that inspires the designs for Artful Offerings. She is passionate about creating an artfully fun and memorable experience for her customers, which evokes an element of excitement and surprise from the moment they first see her patterns through the entire creative process!

Besides being an award-winning quilt artist, Karina, is a prolific designer and has published over 100 patterns under the Artful Offering brand and nearly 100 more in books and commissioned works since founding the company about six years ago. Her designs have been featured in leading national and international industry publications, such as Better Homes & Gardens, Holiday Crafts Christmas Ideas and Halloween Tricks and Treats, Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting, Sewing Savvy, Create & Decorate, Country Marketplace, Quilt, Somerset Studio Gallery, Somerset Home, Australian Homespun, Applique Quilts, and Quilting Professional.
