Official Rules - Tell a Friend Contest
1. SPECIFICS: No Purchase Necessary to Win. The Homespun Hearth Tell a
Friend Contest begins May 1, 2010 12:00 am EST and ends June 15, 2010 6:00 pm EST.
All entrants must be/become Homespun Hearth Newsletter Confirmed Members,
therefore all entrants must have Internet access for eligibility.
Please note: Homespun Hearth will not reimburse for any Internet, phone
and usage charges incurred by your online/phone service. The Tell a Friend
Drawing will be held June 15, 7:00pm MST 2010, and the winners of the shared Grand Prize
will be notified via email, and both winners will also be announced on our
weekly Newsletter. Please Note: If necessary, and agreed upon by both winning
parties, the Grand Prize Quilting in the Rockies Retreat 2010 may be swapped for
the Quilting in the Rockies Retreat 2011 (dates still to be determined).
2. PRIZE: One Prize of a Quilting in the Rockies Retreat 2010 will be
awarded. Please note: One Grand Prize is to be shared by both the Referrer
and the Friend - one room at The Inn, Double Occupancy, September 8 - 12, 2010.
Odds of winning the Grand Prize will depend on the number of entries, but is
forecasted to be approximately One in 75,000. The
Quilting in the Rockies Retreat will be held September 8 - 12, 2010, (Click
Here for More Specific Retreat Information). The Grand Prize awarded
will include all lodging, food, and projects for the Quilting in the Rockies
Retreat as promoted by Homespun Hearth for both the Referrer and the Friend.
Grand Prize is non-transferable. Prize does NOT include any
transportation or transfer fees, and any Country, Federal, State and local taxes
are the sole responsibility of both winners.
3. HOW TO ENTER: This is a Tell a Friend Contest. Step
One - the Referrer sends the Above Tell a Friend Email to one
or more friends. (If the Referrer is not yet a Confirmed Member, he/she
may sign up
here - Click the Confirm link when it arrives via email, then continue
on the step two). Step Two - the Friend will
receive the Tell a Friend Email, and must click 'Submit' link provided on
the Win A Quilt
Retreat page - both the Referrer and the Friend's email addresses will
already be populating the fields . Step Three - the Friend
receives the automated 'Confirm' link in their email Inbox. This link must
be clicked and both the Referrer and the Friend must be confirmed before entry
into the Contest Drawing. The Referrer may enter as many new
different Memberships as he/she likes - each will have it's own entry. The
newly confirmed Friend may then also become a Referrer. New Please
Note: Each Referrer/Friend entered will count as only one entry, however
the Referrer may refer as many friends as he/she wishes. Both the Referrer
and the Friends submitted must be Confirmed Members No Later Than June 15, 2010
6:00pm EST.
4. WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO WIN: This Contest is open to
All quilters who are 18 years of age or older at time of Entry who refer a
friend and where either one or both of the entrants is a new Homespun Hearth
Newsletter Member. Every person (Referrer) may tell more than one friend,
however the friend must not already be a Homespun Hearth Newsletter Member.
Both the Referrer and the Friend become Eligible to Win once Entered (See #3
above). **AT A MINIMUM at least One person/email per entry must be a NEW
Homespun Hearth Newsletter Member, added during the contest dates May 1,
2010 through June 14, 2010. If both the Referrer and the Friend were
Homespun Hearth Members previous to May 1, 2010, then the entry will
automatically be disqualified. So, as a referrer to qualify for the
drawing, be sure to enter friends who have never had a Homespun Hearth
Newsletter
Membership. All entries are verified by a computer generated
program to ensure that at least one of the entries is a new membership.
5. CONDITIONS: Confirmation e-mails returned as undeliverable may
result in disqualification of that entry. No transfer, assignment or
substitution of a prize will be permitted - prize has no cash value.
Only one Grand Prize will be awarded. Any entries after the June 14,
2010 EST deadline will not be entered in the 2010 drawing to be held June 15,
2010. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Contestants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and
acceptance of a the prize constitutes permission for Homespun Hearth to use both
winner's names for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless
prohibited by law. By accepting the Grand Price, both winners agree to hold
Homespun Hearth, and its respective directors, officers, employees, contractors,
and advertising and promotional agencies harmless for any injury or damage
caused or claimed to be caused by attending the Quilting in the Rockies 2010
Retreat.
6. INDEMNIFICATION: By participating, all contestants consent and agree
to release, discharge, indemnify and hold innocent Homespun Hearth and The Inn
at Palmer Divide and all of their respective officers, directors, employees,
contractors, advertising and promotional agencies from and against any claims
made by winners, entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the
process of this contest as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to
any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of
any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance,
possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any contest-related
activity or participation in this contest.
