The In The Beginning Quilt
This finished quilt measures 64" x 70" - perfect to showcase on a feature wall. The kit includes all of the beautiful 100% hand-dyed wool and exotic Silk Matka background and border fabric required to complete the quilt top including binding & Backing. The original quilt, shown here, was appliqued with batik pieces. We've gathered some of the softest, most beautiful woolens for this exclusive version. To take it up another notch, the wool designs are appliqued onto the silk matka background, the sashings are also silk matka, capped off with the outer border that is a gorgeous blue textured silk matka. The comprehensive easy-to-follow pattern, along with full sized templates, is also included, as well as an image of the quilt for color placement.
