Please Note: while the image shows a completed kit, the background fabric is sold separate. The pattern recommends a variety of low-volume fabrics for the background (3 yards total - 1/2 yard each for a total of 6 colors). We recommend Quilter's Linen, which can be found here in a variety of colors. This is a bit heavier than flat cotton (5.6 oz per yard, vs 3-4 oz per yard). You will also need an additional 1/3 yard for the binding (we sell in .25 yard increments, so 1/2 yard), or more if you decide to make a larger quilt.
