This is an absolutely gorgeous signature quilt designed  by world renowned quilt historians Brabara Brackman and Karla Menaugh. The designs within each tree block capture the essence of the antique quilts from which they were inspired - 12 appliqued tree blocks plus 6 'Bonus' bird, berries, vines and star blocks - all with a folk art feel. 

The finished quilt measures 40" x 48" , and the kit includes the instructions, fabric for the quilt top, and binding fabric.  The patterns also have tidbits of history, tips, and more from Barbara and Karla.   Backing fabric is available separately below. 

This is a cotton-lovers dream.  Using 'Wooly' Cottons, Heathers, and Crackles - all 100% Cotton -  to give the look of wool with the feel of cotton in rich Reds, Greens, Golds, Browns, and Black.   You can choose your favorite applique for this method, and applique guidelines are also provided by Karla.
