24 Hour Shipping Goal At Homespun Hearth, in regular business cycles (not to include holidays or year-end inventory) your online order shipment is generally packed and shipped out the door the next day (perhaps even same day if we can!). This 24 hour shipping target is in effect Monday through Friday - no Saturday or Sunday shipments.Should your order be delayed, we will contact you. This generally means we have a question about your order, and need to verify information with you before we can ship. Or, something else that occasionally sets us back is the vengeance of Mother Nature - if we cannot safely make it in to pack your order, we will work like crazy as soon as we are able. Please note - during times of heavy order volume due to popular sales or following long holiday weekends, your order may take up to an extra day (and up to 2 weeks during massive sales) to ship. We apologize for any inconvenience and we thank you for your understanding. Finally, there are several items, as noted in the individual product information pages, that take longer to ship out - these are generally custom-cut kits, and anything that is drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. Block of the Month Shipping Block of the Month Programs are separated into Group #1 & Group #2. For those in Group #1, you will see the charge in the 1st week of the month, and it will ship during the 1st half of the month. The Group #2 BOMs are charged the 3rd week of the month, and ship during the 2nd half of the month. Some months may see the date of shipment pushed out, but we do mix them around so that sometimes your order ships at the beginning of the cycle, and others may be at the end.S hipping Services Homespun Hearth uses UPS and the United States Postal Service (USPS) to ship our orders, and it is our goal to charge you competitive and fair shipping costs. We do not charge a handling fee.Our shipping costs are primarily based on the volume of your order, and we will ship via USPS Flat Rate Priority Envelopes and Flat Rate Boxes as the first option. For shipments too large or off size for the Flat Rate options, the shipping estimates will then be based on weight. In those instances, the system will automatically offer you the best and least expensive shipping method. For pattern only orders, the shipping is a flat rate of $5.95. For International shipments, we will split your envelope shipped items into several envelopes if it is a dollar savings to you. Also, Please note - the tracking information will NOT be displayed in your account -this is to keep the website free of 3rd party risks. Instead, when your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation directly from USPS or UPS, which will also include your tracking information, so you can watch for your package.
Return U.S. Shipping At Homespun Hearth we stand behind our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Therefore, Homespun Hearth will pay for the shipping costs associated with authorized domestic returns. Authorized returns must be within the 30 day guarantee period. However, if you received a free shipment, then we will reduce the initial shipping fee from the refund. Please note that we do not accept returns nor give refunds on Patterns or Books (copyright laws). Please contact Customer Service to receive authorization. Also, please note that the original shipping charges are non-refundable. |
